ILANIT Conference 2023

The 10^th ILANIT conference took place on February 20-23. The ILANIT conference, held once every three years in Eilat, is organized by the Federation of the Israeli Societies of Experimental Biology (FISEB), bringing together researchers, physicians, graduate and postdoctoral students from Israel's universities, research institutes, and hospitals. Research projects and innovations related to all disciplines associated with Biology and Translational Medicine are presented at the conference.

ILANIT's opening ceremony was launched with greetings from the FISEB President and a member of the Dangoor Center for Personal Medicine Prof. Mira Barda-Saad. Dangoor Center researchers, from a variety of Bar Ilan University's faculties, attended the conference, presented their work, and headed sessions in fields including cancer, microbiota, RNA, immunotherapy, etc. The high point occurred on the last day of the conference, as the prestigious Katzir prize was awarded to Prof. Shulamit Michaeli for pioneering and leading ground-breaking research on RNA biology.
