Prof. Cyrille Cohen held a Conference with European Colleagues on Cancer Prevention

To mark World Cancer Day, Prof. Cyrille Cohen, from the Mina and Everard Goodman Faculty of Life Sciences at Bar Ilan University, and President of the Israeli Society for Cancer Research, together with the European Association for Cancer Research, held a conference on Cancer Prevention. During the conference, in which dozens of participants from all over the world took part, cancer prevention, risk factors, and the role of lifestyle on cancer development were discussed. Participants shared progress in the early detection of cancer and the development of advanced treatments in the fight against the disease. One of the conference's main insights was that a significant part of annual cancer incidences can be prevented by policy and behavior changes.
